Limelight Christmas Party

I recently had the privilege of coordinating Limelight Photography's Christmas Party. So many amazing vendors joined us on the Zoumberos farm where Michael and Rebecca Zoumberos live (and where the Limelight Photography studio is located). It was definitely the laid-back, family affair that we were going for! Despite the freezing cold temperature, everyone had such a blast. Check out some of the photos as well as the amazing video. Scott and Holley's Winter Wedding

Scott and Holley were married on December 12, 2008 in the beautiful ballroom at the Marriott Tampa Airport. I don't know if I have ever seen a couple more in love. They were such a pleasue to work with! What a wonderful winter wedding!

Keep it Cool

Ice sculptures have come a long way from the once-popular wedding symbols of hearts, swans, and even cupid shooting an arrow. Now, brides are finding amazing ways give their wedding that extra "wow factor" with ice bars, ice luges, ice stations, ice centerpieces, and much more! A great alternative to a candy bar is a sorbet station. Include a variety of flavors for your guests to choose from- all served in a cute sundae dish made of ice. The great thing about ice is that the design possibilities are endless. Get creative-use your names, monogram, colors, patterns or overall theme to enhance your ice sculpture.

10 Days Late

I had such a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday visiting family in my home state of Louisiana. It was a nice little break before being hit by the busy holiday season! Just 10 days after my trip home, it snowed in Southern Louisiana (which almost NEVER happens). I am so sad that I missed it, especially since I have only seen snow once in my life. Thankfully, my family snapped some great photos to send me. Here's to a miracle....maybe it will snow in Florida this Christmas!
